About Craig Adams
“I have been learning how to rise my entire life.
At fifteen, I walked away from competitive swimming after a bone disease ended the sport I’d built my identity around. In my late twenties, I was leading groups through the mountains — and through real emergencies. Lightning at altitude. Carrying an unconscious person miles down in the dark. I learned then that pressure doesn’t reveal character. It builds it, if you let it.
After that came decades of building — a career, a family, a life. And then came the kind of loss that strips everything down to the foundation. By 2023 I was at the lowest point I had ever known. Not surviving well. Just surviving.
What pulled me through wasn’t a program. It was returning to the ancient practices — Qi Gong, breathwork, somatic work, movement — combined with ruthless honesty about where my energy was actually going. By 2025 I had rebuilt physically, mentally, and spiritually in ways I didn’t believe were still possible. I know what it feels like when your energy returns. I know what it feels like to move from functional survival mode into something you can honestly call power.
Teaching is in my blood. Five generations of my family have stood in front of people and spoken life into them — great-great-grandparents, a great-grandfather who was both a pastor and a college professor, a grandmother who never stopped believing in people, and both my parents who spent their careers in classrooms. I was built for this.
My grandfather’s name was Leonidas. I didn’t fully understand what I carried until I stood at Thermopylae and poured one out for the 300.
